How does John deal with his challenges?
"Whenever problems seem to get the best of me, whenever I feel them closing in on me, I go to a quiet place that lies somewhere in my soul. I do not reason, analyze or think. Those will come later. I simply go. From this place of silence, I garner strength and inspiration to stand firm in the face of fire, to be calm in the midst of thunder. When I emerge, the world has not changed, but I have. And in changing, a whole new world is born."

Find answers in your dreams
I am pretty sure this had happen to you - that you just knew the answer to a problem after awaking from a sleep. What's more, you can't remember how you found out, you just knew the answer this time.
But has this happened to you - you feel differently towards someone that you know after waking up from a sleep. Most likely, you do not realize when this happened, you probably do not even know that you felt that way after a sleep (or more specifically, a dream). All you know is that, you do not feel the way you used to.
I guess it is no use to ask if you remember that dream, though it is possible. This depends on your level of intuition and of course, intuition is something that you already have, you have only to develop it.
What I really want to say is that, dreams heal. It is not really necessary for someone who has wronged you to apologize in person, he may do so in a dream, your dream. That said, don't take this literally, but it is quite safe to say that the other person feels apologetic.
You may want to try this, but it is not necessary.

Listen to yourself for big things and small
In the previous post, I talked about heeding the fear that comes through. But obviously, this is not the only use of intuition (or listening to yourself).
If it isn't for our over reliability on our left brain (or our conscious self), we could have been more intuitive. There is a place for our conscious self and a place for our unconscious (intuitive) self and not only that, both parts are suppose to communicate with each other.
If you are not already aware, most successful people are doing just that; not limited to practical and well known business men. Their spirituality is no secret, except that the public are generally more interested in the material aspect. That is how left brain dominated we are.
The successful ones ask themselves on matters pertaining to the stock market, real estate, etc. It does not harm to have a financial advisor or the like but who is the most reliable advisor? You already know the answer.
Still, before they were faced with such questions, they must have been more than just acquainted with this unconscious self; they must have habituated this process, since the day they were born perhaps? Even if they were disconnected halfway, they must have reconnected some where along the journey of life.
This is where we come in. (I am asuming that you are a novice to your unconscious self, just like I am.) We can start small.
It can be as simple as this example. My spouse was suggesting that we go to a particular electrical store to purchase an electric jug. As I was in the habit of getting to know myself, the idea came to me to well, ask myself on this matter.
In response, the feeling I received was not a strong one but was nevertheless, not exactly positive. The feeling was a simple one and came instantaneously (but feelings are hard to describe, especially in writing). Lets just say that I got a feeling that I would rather not go.
I begun to reason with myself; why did I feel this way? There was no reason that I could see so I begun to guess. Perhaps the shop was closed, perhaps we will not be able to get what we wanted. I could not tell for sure, only could I guess.
Sure enough, when we arrived, the shop was closed.
Pratice makes perfect, but this is no training. It is our birth right and therefore, natural to our abilities. Our intuition is only suffering from a lack of use.

Listen to yourself
Occasionally, answers come even without our explicit asking, even with a sense of urgency. More often than not, this may be interpreted as a warning.
I have experienced a feeling of fear, coming from within my chest, or rather, I believe is actually through my spiritual heart (which is also where the physical heart is located), more than once, each time prompting me not to take a particular action, when I was just about to do so.
The first time I felt this way I was genuinely puzzled and can see no reason why. I went ahead anyway and quickly found out why.
You see, this is exactly what I am talking about, the answer(which can take the form of a feeling) that comes without your thinking it, which may even puzzle you if you do think about it (after receiving the answer).
As a matter of fact, if you want to have any kind of success in your life, you should be listening to yourself. What it comes down to, there is nothing else you need to do except to listen to yourself, and act on the information you have received.
Listen to yourself most of the time if not all the time but definitely listen when it feels urgent. The feeling is unmistakable.
